The Little Eucharistic Brothers of Divine Will are committed to the safety, health and wellbeing of children and vulnerable persons, in keeping with Gospel values and the teachings of the Catholic Church on the dignity of the human person. Our own safety policy, standards and procedures follows the Safe Communities initiative of the Archdiocese of Hobart and is informed by the Australian National Catholic Safeguarding Standards (NCSS).
The LEB’s Safe Ministry policy is informed by the legislative responsibilities proper to Tasmanian state law pertaining to children and vulnerable persons, and by the latest ecclesial obligations and standards. Should our ministry operate in any other Australian states or territories, the legislative responsibilities proper to a state or territory will inform our policy.
We encourage all, namely those we minister to, including children, youths and vulnerable persons, and their families, to open dialogue with us, especially as it pertains to our child safeguarding approaches.
